Thank you to all our fantastic GTTourzerz for joining us on our SOLD OUT Tour Des Pyrenees 2024!
The Pyrenees mountains, with their well-maintained and quiet roads, sunny weather and the breathtaking scenery, proved to be as spectacular as always, and never fails to impress us. The 7 days and nights we spent on our route, around and through the heart of the Pyrenees, is still one of our favourite tours, as it included some simply spectacular driving roads that we know everyone loved as much as we did!
For those experiencing this region for the first time, we hope you’re now wondering why it took so long to visit and are already looking forward to returning, maybe in September 2025 on our Veloz Espana ‘25 tour!
The 2024 event included another exhilarating track session toward the end of the tour, on one of the most challenging circuits we’ve ever driven, the Pau & Arnos Circuit. This is a real challenge and it’s said within the race fraternity in France, “If you are quick at Pau you are quick at any track,” hence the reason Nico Rosberg’s father Keke, hired the track for a full week whilst Nico was in the F3 championship, to help him win the series.
We can concur this track is one of the best we have driven and was the real highlight for many customers on both our 2023 Pyrenees tours, so we had to repeat it in 2024.
We hope you enjoyed the thrill and have enjoyed the videos from the private session by our professional drone pilot, Richard Geres.
Enjoy the memories we created on the videos below!
Below is a link to a Youtube video by GTTourz friend Petrol Ped, of the private track session experience. Sadly we ran out of time to give Ped a hot lap in the GT3 Touring to use in the film, which is a real shame as the car was spectacularly good around here. With all traction aids off, the car just comes alive on this circuit. If you’re in the area and get the chance to do a track session at this circuit, take the opportunity, it’s very special!
