Join us in early October on our exclusive Private Car Club Tour, a 5 night 6 day road trip to see what the highlands of Scotland and the The North Coast 500 really has to offer!

The NC500 is certainly on many petrol heads bucket list, and is often mentioned as being up there with many of the great driving roads across the Alps! However there are lots of fantastic driving roads on route to and from the very north of Scotland and the NC500.

This tour will include some of the very best ones and make this tour a proper challenging, adventure, a true petrol heads dream! A fantastic mixture of some of the best driving roads in Europe as well as some fantastic mountain vistas all in the company of your fellow club members.

This exclusive private car club tour (PCC) is available to our GTTourz customers, but you must have a qualifying car to join the club so please contact us for more details or check out their list here.

If your car qualifies you can book this tour through our web site and the tour cost includes your first years membership fee of £195 + the £50 joining fee. This will then unlock many more private events including exclusive drives, trips, meets and events planned for the remainder of the year and 2022.

NC500 & Scottish Highlands | PCC Tour

This 1400 mile tour taking in the best of Scotland starts and ends at Tebay Services on the M6. The tour includes the Isle of Skye, the NC500 and the best of the roads in the Cairngorms & Trossachs National Parks.

The full tour cost is £2995 based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room, including a private car club membership The single driver price is £2695 including membership.

You can book the tour with confidence and we will offer you rescheduled dates or a full refund if we feel the event is still not safe or practical to run under regional Covid rules.

If you wish to secure a place on the grid for this exclusive club event, please fill out the entry form below and an invoice for £500 deposit will be sent to your email address. The remainder of the balance for the tour will be due no later than 90 days before the tour starts.

Private members club will send you a separate invoice for the yearly membership.

Please note: If the event does take place as planned and the outstanding balance is not paid, it will result in your trip being cancelled and your deposit being lost.

By paying the deposit for this private members event to GTTourz Ltd you are confirming that you have read and understood the Terms & Conditions.

Special Conditions and T&C’s for this event:

This Private Members event is an exclusive tour limited to 12 qualifying cars, to enter you must be a member of the club.

We fully expect to sell this tour out quickly, but the travel market is still very much up in the air, so please be aware that GTTourz Ltd reserves the right to cancel the tour if we do not reach the minimum number of cars (8) or other factors mean it cannot run.

Hotel and restaurant choices may have to change if unforeseen problems arise following covid closures. Should this occur, GTTourz Ltd will endeavour to book the equivalent accommodation and venues and notify all participants of any changes at the earliest opportunity.

Please note that group meals may still not be possible so social distancing rules may have to be maintained which would require customers to form bubbles to share the same table each night. Breakfast may also be staggered to reduce numbers in the restaurant.

GTTourz Ltd tours are social driving adventures and are NOT races, rallies, time trials, or competitive events in any way!

Itinerary

NC500 & Scottish Highlands | PCC Tour

Monday 4th October 2021 - 196 Miles - Tebay to Dunkeld. We will be meeting up at Tebay Services on the M6 for a drivers briefing and to hand out the radios and your pre loaded satellite navigation systems loaned for the duration of the tour.  Following the drivers briefing we will be heading up the M6 to start the first leg of the tour before turning off at Carlisle to head across country to our first hotel in Dunkeld, north of Edinburgh.

Tuesday 5th October 2021 - 260 Miles - Dunkeld to Skye. The second leg of the route will see us head north to pick up the Old Military road, passing Glenshee and Balmoral on some of the best roads in Scotland, before arriving at the start of the NC500 in Inverness. We will stay on our southwest anti-clockwise NC500 route until we veer off and head for our second night stay in the beautiful, and not to be missed when this far north, Isle of Skye.

Wednesday 6th October 2021 - 230 Miles - Skye to Lochinver. The third leg of the trip continues up the rugged west coast on the very challenging Applecross pass, on route to Ullapool, passing through Loch Torridon and Gairloch, before arriving at our 3rd hotel in Lochinver, which is set amid one of the last great unspoiled wildernesses in Europe where you can regularly come across large herds of deer, majestic birds of prey and other varied wildlife!

Thursday 7th October 2021 - 280 Miles - Lochinver to Nairn. The fourth leg of the tour, and our toughest of the tour, continues up the west coast to one of the most photographed locations on the NC500, The Kylesku Bridge. We then head west across the very top of Scotland, picking up the A836 to Tongue, which BBC Top Gear describes as “one of the best roads in Europe! “this isn’t some miserly stretch of twisty road, this is a good 20 miles of stunning”! This will see us arrive at the famous John o’ Groats landmark for that picture under the famous sign, before heading back south on the A9 to Inverness to complete the NC500 route.

Friday 8th October 2021 - 215 Miles - Nairn to Glasgow. The fifth stage will head back south skirting the western edge of the Cairngorms through Aviemore on route to Fort William. The route continues south through the western edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park to our last night’s stay at the fantastic Gleddoch Hotel overlooking the Clyde Estuary, one of the most prestigious spa hotels in Scotland.

Saturday 9th October 2021 - 215 Miles - Glasgow to Tebay Services. Homeward bound today, but before we say our final good-byes and hand back the radios and sat navs at Tebay Services, we have a final route that will make the end of the tour well worthwhile before you finally head for home.
